Elisha Ann Cuthbert Phaneuf li;S@Born 30 November 1982. She is an Canadian actor. Her first TV appearance as an infant actor on the Canadian horror children's show Are You Afraid of the Dark? She also hosted Popular Mechanics for Kids. In 1997, she made her debut in a feature film in the Canadian family-oriented drama Dancing on the Moon. The first time she was seen was in the 1998 drama Airspeed (No Control), with Joe Mantegna. She was in Lucky Girl in 2001. The film earned her her first prize which was the Gemini Awards. In 2001 she relocated to Hollywood and was hired as Kim Bauer in series 24. This was her first big part in an American production. The actress was nominated twice for Screen Actors Guild Awards for the part. She was Darcie Goldberg who was a comedian from college in Old School in 2003 and Carol-Anne in Love Actually in 2003. Cuthbert was well-known for her performance in The Girl Next Door (2004) which was a teen-oriented comedy film.
