Halsey

 Ashley Nicolette Frangipane (IPA: /,fraendZI'pa:ni/ FRAN-jih-PAH-nee;born September 29, 1994), known professionally as Halsey (/'ho:lzi/ HAWL-zee), is an American singer and songwriter. She gained attention due to self-released music on social media platforms . She was signed to Astralwerks in the year 2014. The debut EP, Room 93, was released later in the same year. Badlands was her debut studio album. It came out in the year 2015. In 2015, she dropped Badlands, her first album as a studio artist. The album was later certified by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) certified the album as Double Platinum. Also, the songs "Colors" and "Gasoline" were both certified as Platinum. The singer was also included on "Closer" which was a hit track from The Chainsmokers. This single was a top chart hit across 10 countries, and was later upgraded to 14x Platinum through RIAA. Hopeless Fountain Kingdom, her second studio album, was more radio-friendly than her previous albums. The album's two singles "Now or Never" and "Bad at Love" were among the top 20 songs on the Billboard Hot 100. The first one made it to the top 5. The singer released her debut album "Eastside" in the year 2018.
