Ashley Nicolette Frangipane, IPA: /.fraendZI’pa:ni/FRAN-jih–PAH-nee; September 29 1994) Also called professionally Halsey (/’ho:lzior HAWL-zee) is an American musician and singer. Her birthplace was in New Jersey and raised there. After receiving attention for her self-released music on social media platforms and was signed by Astralwerks in the year 2014. The band released their debut EP "Room 93", in the same year. Badlands was her first album as a studio album. Badlands was her first studio album was released in the year the year 2015. Hopeless Fountain Kingdom, her second studio album, was much more radio-friendly than her prior albums. The album's two singles "Now or Never" and "Bad at Love" were among the top 20 songs on the Billboard Hot 100. The first one made it to the top 5 spots.
