Alison Brie Schermerhorn, born on December 29, 1982, is an American actress. Her breakout performance as Trudy Campbell in the drama show Mad Men (2007-2015) won her an award from the Screen Actors Guild Award. Her appearances as Annie Edison on NBC's sitcom Community (2009-2015) as well as Diane Nguyen on the animated comedy series BoJack Horseman (2014)-2020 earned her recognition. The actress received nominations for two Golden Globes as well as two Critics' Choice Awards for her performance as Ruth Wilder in comedy-drama GLOW (2017-2019). Her name was also recognized when she portrayed Trudy Campbell on AMC's period drama series Mad Men (2007–2015).
