Daniela Ruah

 Daniela Sofia Korn Ruah, born on December 2, 1983, is an American actor and director. She is most well-known for her role as NCIS Special Agent Kensi Bilye on CBS's CBS procedural CBS: Los Angeles. Ruah is the daughter of an Portuguese Otologist mother as well as an ENT surgeon father. Ruah aged five years old, relocated back to Portugal with her family. She was a student at St Julian's School, and began acting in telenovelas around the age of 16. She won a Portuguese-television dance competition.Ruah moved to the U.K at the age of 18 and earned a Bachelor of Arts in performing arts from London Metropolitan University. She returned to Portugal to pursue acting, and in 2007 she relocated to New York City for a Lee Strasberg Theatre Film Institute degree. Her father is Portuguese-Jewish , and her mother is Russian Jewish. She is an American citizen who is a dual citizen of America and Portugal.
