Lily Jane Collins, born 18 March 1989 in London is an American model and actress. Collins was born in Guildford, Surrey, and was raised in Los Angeles. She began acting on screen at the age of two on Growing Pains, a BBC sitcom. Collins had a break in her career in the latter part of 2000 when she started acting and modeling more often. She appeared in The Blind Side, a drama-sports film which was the third highest-grossing film of the year. Her films include the sci-fi horror film Priest (2011) as well as the psychological thriller Abduction (2011) and the fantasy Mirror Mirror (2012), the urban fantasy The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones (2013), and the romantic comedy Stuck in Love (2012), The English Teacher (2013), Love, Rosie (2014) as well as the part as Marla Mabrey in the comedy Rules Do Not Apply (2016). The actress has also been nominated for the Golden Globe Award as Best Actress in a Motion Picture Musical or Comedy and for her performance as anorexic in The Bone (2017).
