 Carrie Marie Underwood, born on March 10, 1983 is an American country music artist. After being the winner of season four of American Idol 2005, she became famous. The first artist from the country music industry to make it to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 charts and the only solo country singer to make it to the top position on the Hot 100 in 2000. Some Hearts, her debut album, was accompanied by the songs that were crossovers, such as "Jesus, Take the Wheel", as well as "Before He Cheats", making it the most popular solo debut album by a female in the history of country music. The album earned her three Grammy Awards, including Best New Artist. Carnival Ride (2007), her second studio album was one of the best opening weeks by an artist of female origin. It also received two Grammy Awards. The hit single "Cowboy Casanova" the third single from her album in the studio, was released before the album Play On (2009). The album was one of the biggest single-week increases on the Hot 100.
