Maggie

 Margalit Ruth Gyllenhaal (/’dZIl@nho.l16 November, 1977) is an American actress. She is a member of the Gyllenhaal family and is the sister to actor Jake Gyllenhaal. As a teenager, she appeared in minor roles in the films of her father, Stephen Gyllenhaal, and later, she appeared in Donnie Darko (2001). Then, she appeared in Adaptation and Confessions of a Dangerous Mind in 2002, as well in Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal was highly praised for her performance in the romantic comedy drama Secretary (2002 and 2006) as well as the action dramatic Sherrybaby (2006). Both of these films earned her nominations for the Golden Globe Award. After a string of commercially successful films such as World Trade Center (2006) Gyllenhaal received acclaim for her performance in the role of Rachel Dawes, in The Dark Knight (2008).
