 Marina Sirtis, /'se?rtIs/ was born on 29 March 1955. She is a British actor. Her most famous role is her part in Star Trek: The Next Generation as Counselor Deanna Trii. Sirtis says that she was three when her self was sexually assaulted by the sons of her babysitter's teenage daughter. Sirtis was diagnosed with an eating disorder following the trauma of the attack. Sirtis was diagnosed with an eating disorder following suffering for more than 20 years due to the trauma caused by the attack. She began therapy in the 90s and eventually recovered and eat normally once more.
