Maya Moore

 Maya April Moore, born on June 11, 1989, is an American professional basketball player who plays for the Minnesota Lynx. She is currently taking a vacation. Sports Illustrated named Moore their first Performer-of-the Year in the year 2017. Moore was also the National Gatorade Female Athlete-of-the-Year and the National Gatorade Player-of-the-Year. Moore played forward for the UConn women's basketball team, winning two national championships in 2009 and 2010. After taking Connecticut to a national title undefeated, she received the John Wooden Award in 2009. Moore was the one to lead Connecticut to its second straight national title. The team continued its unbeaten streak to more than 78 games. In the 2010-11 season, she guided the Huskies to an NCAA record for both genders (all divisions) of 90. Moore was signed by Air Jordan that season as the first female basketball player. Her record of wins and losses in America from high school was 497-78, following the 2017 season.
