 Simone Missick, nee Cook was born on 19 January, 1982. She is an American actress on the film and television industries. Her character as Detective Misty Knight, in Luke Cage's Marvel Cinematic Universe, is her most famous role. She is also in Iron Fist and The Defenders. She was a part of All Rise as Lola Carmichael. Missick also studied master classes at the British American Drama Academy in England. Missick was taught by Jane Lapotaire, Alan Rickman and Ben Kingsley. Missick was in the same role in Iron Fist as well as The Defenders. In February 2019, Missick was announced as the lead character in Trepp in Netflix's science fiction series Altered Carbon.
