Teri Lynn Hatcher was born on December 8, 1964. She is an American actor. Her credits include Lois Lane in Lois & Clark (1993-1997), Paris Carver (1997) and Susan Mayer (2004-2012). Hatcher is the sole daughter of Esther (nee Beshur), who is a computer programmer, and Owen Walker Hatcher Jr. who is a nuclear physicist and engineer. Hatcher says her father's name is English, Welsh, and Irish. Her mother is, however, Syrian.
