Edward Thomas Hardy CBE, born on September 15, 1977, is an English actor from England. After completing his studies at the Drama Centre in London and a film production, he made his debut in Ridley Scott's Black Hawk Down (2001). Since then, he's been nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor as well as two Critics' Choice Movie Awards, and two British Academy Film Awards. He also won the 2011 BAFTA Rising Star Award. He played Mad Max Rockatansky's character in Mad Max: Fury Road in 2015, and also the Kray twins in Legend in 2015. He was a pilot with the RAF and was in Inception (2010), The Dark Knight Rises (2012) as well as Dunkirk (2017).
