Elton John

 Sir Elton Hercules John CH, CBE (born Reginald Kenneth Dwight, 25 March 1947) was a famous English musician, singer and pianist as well as philanthropist. John is known as the "Rocket Man" has enjoyed an impressive solo career from the late 1970s. The singer has released 31 albums in total from 1969. John has been working with Bernie Taupin, lyricist, since the year 1967. He is well-respected by critics and musicians alike particularly for his work in the 1970s and his influence on the business of music. John's showmanship, music and his music have had a significant influence on the popular music scene. One of the most popular collaborations in songwriting history is John's collaboration with Taupin. John was born in Pinner, London. He began studying piano at an early age and later formed the blues group Bluesology (in 1962). John quit Bluesology in the year 1967, and started his own career. He was introduced to Taupin after they responded to an advertisement seeking writers. They composed songs for a variety of artists in the span of two years.
