Gemma Christina Arterton, born on February 2, 1986 is an English actress. Her debut in a feature film was with the comedy St. Trinian's (2007). Arterton played the Bond Girl Strawberry Fields in Quantum of Solace (2008). The performance brought her an Empire Award as Best Newcomer. In recognition of her performance in the production of The Escape, she was given the Harper's Bazaar Woman of the Year Award. She was a part of The Duchess of Malfi (2014) as well as Made in Dagenham (2014). Nell Gwynn (2016), Saint Joan (2017) are among her most memorable performances in the theatre.
