Laura Linney

 Laura Leggett Linney was born on February 5, 1964. Linney has won numerous awards including four Primetime Emmy Awards, two Golden Globe Awards, and four Primetime Emmy Awards. She was also nominated for five Tony Awards and three Academy Awards. Linney was the first to make her Broadway debut in the year 1990. Linney was nominated for an Tony Award for The Crucible's revival in 2002. Linney was awarded her Emmy Award in 2001 for Wild Iris, and she has since received Emmy Awards for sitcoms Frasier (2003-04) as well as the miniseries John Adams (2008). The actress starred from 2010 until 2013 on The Big C on Showtime and won the fourth Emmy for the show in 2013. From 2017 until 2022, she appeared as an actor in Ozark which is a Netflix crime drama. Linney is also regarded as an established actor in the film industry. Her first film role was an uncredited role in the film Lorenzo's Oil.
