 Julia Scarlett Elizabeth Louis -Dreyfus (pronounced 'lu'i'draIf@s) (born 13 January 1961), is an American comedian as well as an actress and producer. She was a regular in Saturday Night Live (1982-1985), Seinfeld (89-1998), The New Adventures of Old Christine (2006), Veep (2012), as well as Veep (2012–2019). She is among America's most popular actresses. She has been awarded more Primetime Emmy Awards, more Screen Actors Guild Awards, and received more nominations than any other actor. Her professional career began in the field of comedy as an actor at The Practical Theatre Company in Chicago, Illinois. This resulted in her being cast as a character on Saturday Night Live (1982-1985). Seinfeld was her first big break in the year 1990, when she played Elaine Benes for nine seasons. The sitcom is among the most popular and critically appreciated. Christine Campbell was her other television role that she played for five seasons on CBS.
