 American actor Lisa Valerie Kudrow, /'ku/droUKOO-droh/ was born on July 30 1963. Her character in the role of Phoebe Buffay on the American sitcom Friends was her first international success. The show aired from 1994 to 2004. She was awarded the Primetime Emmy, Screen Actors Guild and Satellite American Comedy Awards for her role in Friends. Since the time, Phoebe was named one of the most memorable TV characters. Phoebe was Kudrow's first major role, which led to her successful film career. Kudrow received numerous awards, like the Primetime Emmy Award in Outstanding Supporting Actress in an Comedy Series from 15 nominations and two Screen Actors Guild Awards (from 12 nominations) and an Golden Globe Award nomination.
