 Mariah Carey, born March 27, 1969 was an American singer-songwriter actress, record producer, and actress. She is referred to as "Songbird Supreme" or "Queen of Christmas". Her five-octave range of voice and her signature usage of the whistle register as well as songwriting are among her most memorable performances. Carey became famous through her debut album. Carey was the first singer to have her first five singles rise to the top of the Hot 100 chart of Billboard. They were "Vision of Love" and "Emotions". Carey was engaged to Tommy Mottola three years later. The albums of Carey Music Box (1993), Merry Christmas (944) and Daydream (1995) were able to succeed even more. The singles featured "Hero"," "Without You" and" "All I want to Give for Christmas is You", "Fantasy" as well as "One Sweet Day". The singles were atop the US Billboard Hot 100 decennary chart (1990s). Carey changed his look after his split from Mottola and added more hip-hop influences to Butterfly (1997).
