Melissa Marie Benoist, /b@'noIst/b@-NOYST was born on October 4, 1988. She is an American actor and singer. Marley Rose was her first big role on the musical comedy series of Fox Glee (2012)-2014 which she was a regular series participant during the fifth season. Her first big role was in the role of Marley Rose on the CBS and CW superhero show Supergirl (2015). The show also had her as a regular on the series in the fifth season. In the Paramount Network miniseries Waco (2018), she played the role of the wife of the cult leader David Koresh. Benoist's Broadway debut came in the year the year 2018 when she portrayed Carole King in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, an jukebox musical.
